The early fight is a paired encounter — the game's second lesson in target priority after Bremen. The siblings protect each other; breaking the pair is the fight.
Their story doesn't end here. The Cursed Brother Hansel (15.2%) and Cursed Sister Gretel (14.1%) fights sit near the very bottom of the rarity table, in deep-route territory. What the mist eventually does to these two is one of BLACK SOULS' cruelest long arcs.
The sequel's Fairy Tale [Hansel and Gretel] ('Land of Sweets', 34.7%) adds the series' final word on the witch's house.
