Where BLACK SOULS’ list was 51 bosses and 14 endings, the sequel’s 102 achievements spread across four distinct games-within-the-game. Knowing which of the four you’re grinding at any moment is the whole strategy. The full interactive list lives in the Achievement Tracker.

The four sub-lists

Category Count Range The game it represents
Bosses 25 50.9% → 16.5% Combat progression — see boss order
Endings 8 39.1% → 18.1% Cycle planning — see endings guide
Fairy & Folk Tales 34 48.8% → 9.4% Exploration — see tale locations
Events & questlines 35 71.3% → 8.6% Curiosity — see missables guide

The event category is the sequel’s personality: its floor (sparing Unis, 8.6%) is the rarest thing in either game, and its ceiling (lighting a bone fire, 71.3%) is the most common. BLACK SOULS II tracks witnessing — being in the right place, with the right state, and choosing the stranger option.

The efficient 100% plan

  1. Cycle 1 — breadth. Alice End, the town-boss band, every tale on your path, and the free events (bone fire, falling death “Oops” at 69.2%, Dodo’s technique, the Cheshire Cat). You should exit cycle one with ~55–60 achievements without optimizing.
  2. Cycles 2–3 — the cluster and the questlines. Main-branch endings while running the four failable questlines to completion (Vernai, Griffy, Chikerost, Gerda/Kai). These cycles also mop up the 20–35% event band: Humpty’s Chick, the Duchess pair, Royal Croquet, the Moon.
  3. Cycle 4 — Born End + the strict thread. The Snow Queen tale (11.5%) wants a carefully-tended Gerda/Kai run; pair it with the witnessing tier (Kuti, the Dormouse, Jubjub and the Chick).
  4. Final cycles — the deep shelf. Fairy and Hell & Heartbroken Ends, Hyde and the Prince of Fear, the blank tale, the full Library shelf (“Sweet dreams”, 15.3%), and — hardest of all — not killing Unis.

Achievements people wrongly think are hard

  • “Fresh Meat” (44.8%) — lose to a Kidnapper on purpose. It’s an invitation, not a punishment.
  • “Oops” (69.2%) — die from falling. You’ll get it honestly.
  • “Hatter Killer” (13.8%) — kill the Hatter enough times. Not hard; just weird enough that most players never think to repeat it.
  • “Hookah Overdose” (16.8%) — smoke with Shisha at least 5 times. Persistence, not challenge.

Achievements that are exactly as hard as they look

  • “Sweet dreams” (15.3%) — every fairy tale found and shelved.
  • “Rabbit’s Dream” (17.2%) — a full, unfailed Vernai questline.
  • “The Snow Girl” (14.1%) — the Gerda/Kai thread in its narrow success state.
  • The Prince of Fear (16.5%) — the game’s final exam in combat form.
